Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Petcom ("we"), a pet identity and community registry for India. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Petcom.

Using Petcom

You must be at least 13 years old to use Petcom. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you add — your pet's details, the emergency phone number you publish, and any report you file — and for keeping your account secure.

Acceptable use

Petcom exists to help reunite pets and support animal welfare. You must not upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or that infringes anyone else's rights, and you must not misuse the emergency or found-dog features (for example, filing false reports or harvesting other people's contact details). We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or delete accounts that do.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add. You grant us the limited permission needed to store it and show it where you've chosen to — for example, a pet's public emergency page or a community listing. We may remove any content at our discretion, especially where it breaks the rules above or the privacy protections that keep owners safe.

Not veterinary advice

Petcom is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. The AI pet assistant and any guidance in the app are informational only and do not diagnose, prescribe, or replace a qualified vet. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian.

No warranty; limitation of liability

Petcom is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it running and to reunite pets, but we can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a lost pet will be found. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.
